Ho Chi Minh City moves fast, with motorbikes streaming around every corner and street vendors ladling out bowls of pho and broken-rice plates from dawn onward. March falls in the dry season, so expect warm, humid days with little rain. Wander the old colonial quarter around the central post office, duck into a backstreet coffee shop for strong iced ca phe sua da, then visit the War Remnants Museum for sobering context.
