The short version

Captain Cheap earns money through affiliate commissions and advertising. When you book through a link on this site, we may receive a commission from the booking provider. You pay exactly the same price— the commission comes out of the provider’s margin, not your fare.

How this affects what we post

It does not. Deals are selected by price, not by commission rate. A fare qualifies because it beats what that route normally costs, or because it is cheap in outright terms — never because one partner pays better than another.

We would rather post nothing on a given day than pad the feed with ordinary fares dressed up as deals.

What we cannot promise

Prices come from airline and booking-site data that changes constantly, and a fare can sell out or rise within minutes of us finding it. We check every deal before publishing, but we cannot guarantee a price will still be available when you click. Always confirm the final price on the booking site before paying.

We are not a travel agent and we do not sell tickets. We link you to the provider and your contract is with them — including for changes, cancellations, and refunds.

Who we work with

Our flight links go through Travelpayouts, the affiliate network for Aviasales and related travel brands. Where we link to hotels, car hire, tours, or travel essentials, those are affiliate links too and are labelled as such.

Advertising

We also show display advertising. Ads are supplied by third-party networks and are not endorsements — we do not choose or vet individual advertisers.
