About Captain Cheap

Captain Cheap finds cheap flights leaving the Balkans and posts them the same day. No accounts, no newsletter wall, no fifty-step listicles — just the route, the dates, the price, and a link to book it yourself.

Where we look

We watch departures from:

• Sofia (SOF)
• Bucharest (OTP)
• Belgrade (BEG)
• Thessaloniki (SKG)
• Varna (VAR)
• Burgas (BOJ)

How a deal gets posted

We track fare prices every day and build up a picture of what each route normally costs in each month of the year. A fare gets posted when one of two things is true:

• It beats its own history. Not cheap compared to some general rule — cheap compared to what that specific route usually costs at that time of year.
• It is simply very cheap. Under €50 return is worth knowing about wherever it goes.

Everything is reviewed by a human before it goes up. We would rather post nothing on a quiet day than pad the feed.

A word on prices

Cheap fares disappear fast — sometimes within minutes. We publish the price we found and when we found it, but always confirm the final price on the booking site before paying. We do not sell tickets; we point you at the provider.
